Memory Lane #06 Tomb Raider

I remember the Tomb Raider movies starring Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft. The movies are of course based of off the game of the same name. I did enjoy both of the live-action movies, but I really didn't like the second movie as I felt that it lost the same spark and drive that was present in the first movie. I remember reading an article saying that there is a movie reboot in the works, and if there is let's just hope that the movie won't be a major flop and actually turn out better than the original movie.

Mini-Review

This was a game that I was anticipating for quite some time and I was not disappointed at all. This game was a great reboot for the series and I really hope that Crystal Dynamics makes a sequel as I've thoroughly enjoyed this fresh new take on Lara Croft. The pacing of the game was fantastic and the story of the game kept you on the edge of your seat. Lara's character development was well thought out and was for me one of the main highlights of the game. It was great to see Lara grow into the character that we all know that she will become.

Verdict

This is a must buy game for me and the action sequences were amazing, thrilling, and fun!!
