Legend of Korra: A New Spiritual Age

It was great seeing Uncle Iroh again, he was the main highlight of this episode. Jinora was also great during this episode and she's very mature and wise despite her young age; even more so than Korra. If anything this episode was a build up for what's to come next. Overall, it was a solid episode.

Legend of Korra: The Guide

All I can say is finally! Now we're getting somewhere! Korra as a character was really enjoyable this episode for once this entire season. She was patient, mature, and on point. Mako on the other hand is a major douche bag. Even though I do prefer Masami over Makorra. I don't like the fact that Asami is eagerly running back into his arms after it's only been a week since Mako broke up with Korra. I mean, does Asami not even value her and Korra's friendship anymore? Idk I really think Mako doesn't deserve either of the girls and I can only pray that the pending love triangle of doom is not brought back into the equation because I got my fill of it during the first season. I sure in hell DO NOT want Korra to get back together with Mako. Korra is in it's final stretch of episodes and things can only get better from here on out. I'm actually excited for the upcoming episodes of Korra more so than I was before.

Legend of Korra: Beginnings Part I & Part II

All I can say about these two episodes are wow! These two episodes were not only beautifully animated but also helped to put the Legend of Korra back on track, and hopefully the ensuing episodes to come will also be on the same caliber as these two episodes in terms of quality and story-telling. The origin story of the 1st Avatar was brilliantly orchestrated and laid out. I really came to like Wan not only as a character but as a person too. He made a costly mistake and instead of running away from the problems he's caused he decided to own up to his mistakes and make things right again. What a sweetheart! Now I can only hope that Korra after witnessing the origins of the Avatar will come to respect the Avatar lineage more so than she did before and live up to her expectations and fulfill her duties properly as the current Avatar.

Legend of Korra: The Sting

In this episode, Masami was on the rise while Makorra continues to sink into the deep depths of the ocean waters. Varrick being a villian could be spotted from a mile away I already put it together when Mako suspected that the Northern Water tribe wasn't behind the bombing attack. I was glad that Bolin told Mako off after the past couple of episodes Mako acted like a jerk to him. Korra getting amnesia is a welcome change of pace hopefully we'll get good character building and development because as much as I hate to say it Korra is dragging her show down and has become very unlikable and that's very sad to see. This season has really become very predictable and has lost a lot of complexity that the lst season had done so well. It's such a shame to see how piss-pour the writing for this show has become... :(

Legend of Korra: Peacekeepers

So far, season 2 of the Legend of Korra to be honest has not been all that great. I really dislike how the writer's have written Korra's character this season it just really irritates me. The one great thing about this episode was the Makorra break-up of course it probably won't last for too long, but I don't care I was ecstatic when it happened. I really hope that this season will get better once we get into the spirit world arc of it because all of this political/diplomatic turmoil is definitely not Korra's strong suit or the least bit interesting to say the least. But at least we got to see General Iroh even though the animation on him looked weird. O_O

Legend of Korra: Civil Wars Part II

Civil Wars Part II

So far this episode was my favorite out of all the episodes that have aired as of now. The story is finally staring to pick up and the action as well. There was a nice amount of action and teamwork displayed within this episode by Team Avatar. I'm still hoping that during this season Bolin will get some great character development. Also, it was great to see Asami back in action. At first, I was all for Bolin/Eska but seeing how she's so abusive and heavily into bondage I just had to abandon ship.

Legend of Korra: Civil Wars Part I

Civil Wars Part I

In this episode, Korra was quite the jerk to everyone. Also, it's pretty easy to see that Korra's uncle is manipulating her. Mako gives horrible dating advice and his overall character is just a big meh. This season so far is definitely dealing with more of the political duties of the avatar more than anything.

The Legend of Korra Season 2 Premiere

Yesterday was the highly anticipated season 2 premiere of the Legend of Korra. My thoughts regarding the one-hour season premiere is as follows; I think that the season is off to a pretty good start, I felt that there was just too much unnecessary humor that was added in, I really hope that Bolin will get some good character development and not just be reduced to the comic-relief character archetype, I still don't particularly care for the bland relationship between Mako and Korra I find it to be uninteresting to say the least and unhealthy, I love the twins they amuse me, and it's very clear that Korra's uncle has an ulterior motive. I personally think that he wants to rule over both the Northern and Southern Watertribes.
